Event Details Skill levels: 3.0, 3.5, 4.0 & 4.5+
 Friday: October 21st at 6pm  Men’s and Women’s Singles Play
Saturday: October 22nd  at 8am  Men’s and Women’s Doubles Play
Sunday: October 23rd at 8am  Mixed Doubles Play
$35 (includes event T-shirt) $10 per event Format All categories will play round robin. Depending on registration numbers some categories might have single elimination playoffs.

55+ BC Games Coquitlam, B.C. Sep 20-24, 2016

Coquitlam Lights Cauldron On June 1st, 2016, the Torchlighting Ceremony for the Coquitlam 2016 55+ BC Games took place at Coquitlam Centre. The countdown to the games on September 20 – 24 begins.The 55+ BC games are an annual multisport event. The games celebrate active and healthy BC residents 55+. The games will showcase some 22 sports and upwards of 4,000 athletes will participate in these sports. It will be the largest multisports games in Canada. Visit  
Pickleball events: (for all skill categories) a) Men’s and Women’s Singles 3.5, 3.75, 4.0, 4.5+ levels only Singles – participants may enter and play up no more than one level above their skill rating. b) Men’s Doubles (all categories) c) Women’s Doubles (all categories) d) Mixed Doubles (all categories).

18+, 50+, 60+, 70+ (age as of Dec. 31, 2016 – photo ID required at sign in) (18 year olds must turn 18 by the day of the tournament in which they play)
Strathcona Center (Lion’s Park courts) Medicine Hat, AB
8 outdoor courts using Pickleball 3.0 nets and Dura Fast 40 balls
IFP rules to be followed for play and paddle approval
Tournament Director(s) reserve the right to add/combine &/or split age categories and skill levels based on the number and age of registrants and to adjust the format for each category
Our plan is to use a triple knockout format where numbers warrant otherwise round robins will be used.
A, B, C winners in each category
Our goal is for each team to have at least three matches unless there is an injury withdrawal
Men’s doubles (August 5), Mixed doubles (August 6), Women’s doubles (August 7)
Entry fee one event: $30.00 (minus $10.00 if MHSS Pickleball Club member)
Second event $15.00 more
Apply early as registrations may have to be limited.

Venue:  Oliver Woods Community Centre, 6000 Oliver Road, Nanaimo
Events:   Women’s Doubles, Men’s Doubles, Mixed Doubles & Singles
Skill levels offered 2.5, 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5+ subject to number of entries.
Registration:  Begins May 1st on our website
Deadline:  Friday June 17th
Format:  Round Robin, going into a double knockout, guaranteeing 6 games minimum subject to number of entries per division.
Schedule:  Women’s Doubles, Men’s Doubles – Sat. June 25  8:00am to 5:00pm
Mixed Doubles, Singles – Sun. June 26  8:00am to 5:00pm
Entry Fee:  $30.00 plus $5.00 per person per event
Lunch:  Included for registered players.  Can be ordered for guests ($5.00 ) on the registration form.
