Notice to All Members of Pickleball Canada

Notice to All Members of Pickleball Canada As Chairman of the Nominating Committee of Pickleball Canada, I am asking for the names of players that you want to have considered for election to the Board of Pickleball Canada at the Annual General Meeting on Saturday, February 19, 2011.

If you know of a player, that would be willing to serve in a position on the Board, please recommend them. We are looking for fresh ideas. We need players to put their names forward so we get the best candidates for the job. We want a democratic process and we can only get that if we have several candidates running for the same position.

So that the nominating committee can have time to review the names and prepare a list prior to February 19, 2011, we ask that all names be submitted to the chair, no later than February 15, 2011.

Please forward your nominations to Wayne Roswell at rwroswell@gmail.com
Your nominating committee,
Beverley Butt, Donna Robins, Wayne Roswell

Application Form for Area Ambassadors of B.C.

Pickleball Canada has a new Board of Directors. They have made some changes to the Ambassador Program. The Provincial Ambassador is a new position and one of our responsibilities is to make recommendation for Area Ambassadors to be approved by Pickleball Canada.

The new Ambassador Program requires completed applications from new applicants as well as from previously appointed ones (to be documented). The new Ambassador Program does not have any 'At Large' Ambassadors, so if you have been 'At Large', please choose a specific location that you would like to represent.

For those who are interested to become an Area Ambassador in B.C., please read the Ambassador Program policies, Procedures and Guidelines in Pickleball Canada website http://pickleballcanada.org/node/202
